John Cynn and Tony Miles held a record marathon Saturday night / sunday morning in Las Vegas which made Wimbledon's interminable fifth set of similar sprints.
The two men played against each other for 10 hours at the World Series of Poker Main Event final table. Cynn, a 33-year-old Indiana poker winner, won the seesaw battle in the poker room in Rio Las Vegas. He will go home with a championship band – and the first price of $ 8.8 million.
Miles, a 32-year-old online player living in Florida, will receive $ 5 million to end others.
Cynn won the king and jack of clubs against Miles "queen of clubs and eight of hearts. Two other kings and another eight showed the flop and angry, which gave Cynn a set and Miles two pairs.
The tournament could have ended after about two hours of heads-up play when Miles went badly all-in on the river on a bluff. Cynn fell instead of risking calling 95 million chips and Miles was back in battle.

Cynn and Miles became the last two standing (or sitting if you prefer) after Michael Dyer was eliminated under The first half hour of Saturday's session. Ha a total of $ 3.75 million to finish the third.
This year's World Series of Poker Main Event attracted 7,874 participants who each play $ 10,000 to play.
