A woman was rescued Thursday from an SUV that had been hanging on the side of the Florida parking garage for almost an hour.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crew responded to the second story of a parking garage in Miami Springs at about 4:25 pm Thursday, at which time the authorities said the vehicle ̵
And the driver was trapped inside.
"A very uncertain position, the vehicle was attached by a few inches of metal to the door," said MDFR's chief Danny Cardeso to reporters. "It was the only thing that prevented it from falling."

The authorities said that SUVs crashed through steel cables anchored to the parking garage walls.
Rescue workers were able to secure the vehicle and release the driver, who was treated at the site.
"It took us about 45 minutes to secure the vehicle before we could safely remove the passenger," Cardeso said. "She didn't say exactly how it happened, so we don't know what happened at that time."

No one else was hurt, the authorities said.
