Walt Disney World begins to reimburse annual passengers following a monthly payment processing error

Yesterday, Walt Disney World Resort was charged annual passengers which were included in the monthly payment plan for four months of payments at one time. That afternoon, Disney released a statement that the error was due to a “computer error” and refunds would begin “actively processed.”

When we check in with our WDWNT staff, it seems as if reimbursements have begun to be processed today, which means that everyone can have a huge relief.

However, it does not appear that this has happened to everyone and a couple of employees even had the payments been withdrawn from their accounts today as opposed to yesterday.

The Annual Passenger Landing Site still displays the following information on passenger options in the monthly payment plan:

We also observed many guests who stood outside the Welcome Center Guest Relations today during a trip to Disney Springs and watched as they were rejected as the guests were told that nothing could be done at that location.

We will continue to update this post with more information as it arises. Annual passengers needing assistance should contact VIPASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277.
