They are looking for 5 other members of the band “Los Celias de Coropo”, says PNB.
A gang dedicated to robbery and blackmail, called “Los Celias de Coropo”, was dismantled during patrols carried out by members of the Bolivian National Police (PNB) in the state of Aragua.
During the tour in the Coropo sector, Linares Alcántara municipality in that unit, the uniformed officers managed to find eight members of this criminal group, who, after noticing the police presence, activated their firearms and threw a grenade at the commission.
In the procedure, they caught three of the arches, identified as: Luis Manuel Palacios, Miguel Alejandro Ramírez and Edmary Estefany Marcena, while the other five fled.
A 44-caliber firearm, a fragmentary grenade and cartridges were seized at the scene, the police spokesman said in a press release.
The case was placed on order by the public ministry.
