This was announced to RBC-Ukraine by the President of the State Consumer Service in the capital Oleg Ruban.
“Today the situation is stabilizing, as the holiday season is coming to an end and those who have been infected since September 1 have already passed the incubation period,” he said.
Ruban stressed that an increase in incidence is expected next week.
“Next week, we expect an increase in the incidence of students returning to school, so the city of Kiev will be in the ‘orange’ zone until March, according to the most optimistic forecasts,” the official said.
Remember that Kiev yesterday became the first region in Ukraine where more than 20 thousand cases of coronavirus have been registered since the pandemic began.
