Epic Games did not allow players from certain countries and regions to participate in Fortnite tournaments. The list includes residents of Belarus and the Crimean Peninsula. Information about this appeared on the official website.
The ban also affected players from North Korea, Syria, the Central African Republic, Lebanon, Libya and Cuba. See the full list of countries and regions here. Point 3.6.1 of the series regulation states that restrictions were imposed in accordance with US law.
