The Federal Institute of Industrial Property published images of alloy wheels, whose patent holder is the Russian car factory AvtoVAZ.
Based on the pictures, the eight-spoke wheels will differ in aerodynamic design and small size.
The new wheels have four bolts mounting. This means that they can be installed on almost all modern Lada cars, with the exception of the 4×4 SUV and the Vesta Sport sports sedan, which uses five bolts to fix the wheels.
Will the basic versions of Lada cars be equipped with such alloy wheels or theirs will be offered as an alternative, although not known.
On August 13, it was reported that AvtoVAZ was working on the creation of the Lada Vesta model with a new continuous variable automatic transmission (variator). Production of a new modification will start in the next two years.
