CBS has eight new shows set to premiere in the 2019-20 season, five of which will make their debuts this fall. Those titles include "Carol's Second Act," "Evil," "The Unicorn," and more, while "Broke," "FBI: Most Wanted," and "Tommy" are being held until the midseason.

'Carol's Second Act'

A comedy about a woman who, at age 50, embarks on a unique second act after raising her children, getting divorced, and retiring from teaching: pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor. Patricia Heaton leads the show's cast, which also includes Kyle MacLachlan, Ito Aghayere, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, and Sabrina Jalees.
