Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad release date has been confirmed, and you don’t have to wait much longer to get tactical with the mobile crossover RPG.
The Ubisoft Forward event included a new trailer for the game, along with the news that Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad release date will drop on August 27. You can go to the game official website to register now and get a game reward (Montagnes Tier 2 weapon, an M1911 gun), but as of this writing the site seems to have some technical difficulties.

Along with the unveiling of the Tom Clancy Elite Squad release date, Ubisoft also shared a new movie trailer showcasing operators from across the Clancy verse who work together to secure an imprisoned ally. The “ally” turns out to be El Sueño, the big bad guy from Ghost Recon Wildlands. But that’s OK, because Sam Fisher is there to keep an eye on him.
Ubisoft first showed off Elite Squad back at E3 2019 and reveals a game similar to EA’s Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes but with tactical operators instead of stormtroopers and Jedi.
While this trailer shows us no new game, it does offer a nice look at the cartoon style that Elite Squad uses to unite the various franchises it passes over. It’s neat and fun, like a modern, extraordinarily violent GI Joe. Hopefully the game itself pulls out the aesthetic just as well.
