The BMW M3 Touring will not arrive in the United States

Earlier today, BMW announced that it would build a production M3 Touring, giving a wish from enthusiasts around the world for decades. With a two-turbo straight six under the hood that makes at least 480 horsepower, it will be one of the coolest cars in BMW’s range. But like most cool European performance cars, it will not be sold in North America.

7;s main competitors – the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Wagon and Audi RS 4 Avant – are sold here. And if you’ve been aware of how few wagons are sold in America, you understand why BMW decided not to go through the effort of taking this one to our shores.
