Taylor Swift makes surprise performance on gay bar Stonewall

NEW YORK Taylor Swift made a surprise at an iconic gay bar one day after releasing a song supporting the LGBTQ community.

Swift praised Pride Month by appearing at the New York City's Stonewall Inn on Friday night. She released her new tune on Thursday called "You Need to Calm Down", calling out those who attack the LGBTQ community.

The song is the second single from Swift's seventh album "Lover" which will be released on August 23rd.

Ferguson is working on a documentary about Stonewall Inn where patrons opposed a police attack in 1

969 and helped kick the gay movement. The bar marks 50 years ago the riots.
