Zurich (awp) – After returning to growth, PKZ's fashion retailers continued to grow in the first half of the year. "We have once again increased by 2 percent as in the last fiscal year," said PKZ Manuela Beer in an interview with "Tages-Anzeiger" on Saturday.
The hot summer has contributed with its part: "We could sell summer clothes in August – fortunately also in Zurich for tourists," said beer.
Online business increased by more than 20 percent. "In three years, the sales share will be 10 percent, but I have no requirement to reach 30 percent," says beer. The shopping experience in the store was and remains central. Even younger customers still want to enter business.
Beer refused to bunt their strengths with its competitors: "I currently do not see any benefits of working with Zalando or similar companies, and we concentrate on our strengths make it our own way. In the future, we would rather offer one premium platform that the network is online with mortar and trays than to collaborate with the contest, "says Beer.
