Statewide Amber Alert explained to boy believed to be in extreme danger



SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WLFI) – A statewide Amber Alert has been declared for a missing South Bend boy. He was seen last Wednesday night.

St. Joseph County Police Department issues the warning for John D. Gyuriak. He is a 9-year-old boy described as 4 & apos; pounds and 70 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Gyuriak has a scar over his right eye.

Last seen in a red Chicago Bulls shirt with "Rose # 1" on the back and black Under Armor athletic shorts with a white border. Gyuriak was seen last Wednesday at 11 o'clock in South Bend. The police said he was believed to be in extreme danger.

Police are looking for Areca Nicole Gyuriak in connection. She is 29 years old and described as 5 feet tall, 90 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She recently saw blue tank top and black yoga pants.

The suspicious vehicle is a tan 2008 Dodge Charger.
