Now that Brittany Cartwright from Vanderpump regulates has announced its pregnancy, some fans would love to see the series switch from the original premise to a new type of show.
“New show, water pump babies?!?!” wrote a fan on Cartwright’s Instagram announcement. Cartwright is the latest cast member to announce her pregnancy. Stassi Schroeder, who was fired from the series, announced that she was pregnant in June. Most recently, Lala Kent shared the news that she was also pregnant.
Kent shared a video of her sex revealing party over the weekend. Both Schroeder and Kent are expecting girls. Now Cartwright made his announcement, as the roles entered a new chapter in their lives.
Some fans are definitely here for a baby spin-off show
The last season of Vanderpump regulates ended with some of the lowest ratings in the show’s history. Many fans thought the show was definitely over when Schroeder and three other members were fired from the series.
But after hearing about the baby announcements, some fans see a way for the show to return in a new way. “When does the new season of Vander-Bump begin?” podcast host Heather McDonald wrote on Cartwright’s post.
Another fan also had a name suggestion. “WE NEED A SPIN OFF !!! “Growing up with Vanderpump rules.” ”

“Could it be a new show with all my ladies as mothers?!? I’m so happy for you all! ”A fan added.
Producer Andy Cohen shared, “This is GREAT !!!!!” His response gave a lot of fans asking for a spin-off and to bring Schroeder back to the players.
New series, new role?
One reason some fans pushed back the series was the serious cast seen last season. Producers added six new, younger members to the group, but the players did not seem to gel. New cast member Dayna Kathan revealed that Jax Taylor was particularly unwelcome.
“Well, I mean, in the end, so I and the other people happened, right?” she told Katie Maloney-Schwartz about her You will love me podcast.
“It was not necessarily our choice, it was obviously made by the forces that make the show,” she continued. “And I feel somehow, and I mean, I do not know if you will cut this or not, but I feel that [Taylor] cannibalized part of the show this season. I honestly think the last three episodes were really good. And even though it was not like, so married together, it was clear that there were differences. ”

But fans seem to react positively to following the OG roles when they enter parenthood. Maloney-Schwartz said it may be time to consider becoming a parent in a new podcast episode as well.
“So everyone also asked us about babies, when we’re going to have a baby, but you heard Mr Commitmentphobe yourself,” Maloney-Schwartz said in his podcast, You will love me. Schwartz joked about wanting to live in the present and they will have a child when the time is right. But Maloney-Schwartz said, “We are not getting any younger. We’re going to have a baby. ”
