After weeks of hype, Hamilton is now available to stream on Disney Plus on your TV, desk or phone. But if you are a mega fan or beginner who wants to watch the hip hop musical, there may be a small catch. Disney Plus̵

7;s free trial no longer applies. That’s right: Disney recently turn off its free trial program for Disney Plus, which means you have to look at Hamilton from a paid subscriber account (read on for more information).

The award-winning musical is hailed as a creative modern retelling of Alexander Hamilton’s journey to becoming a founding father in the United States. Hamilton was created by composer, playwright, artist and producer Lin-Manuel Miranda and won 11 Tony Awards in 2016 and the Pulitzer Prize in 2016 in drama.

The Hamilton movie was filmed with the original Broadway cast of 2016, which mainly consists of black, Latin and Asian American artists, including Miranda herself. The release of Disney Plus is noticeable in the current climate political protest against systemic racial rights and calls for reforming everything from entrenched police laws to employment and compensation practices business America.

Aaron Burr and George Washington are among the characters on stage along with the founding father. The series includes popular songs like My Shot, Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down) and Wait for It – you can stream the album for free on Spotify and you should definitely listen to the soundtrack before looking at Hamilton. When does Hamilton start?

Hamilton began streaming at Disney Plus this Independence Day weekend, appropriately enough for a musical about the American Revolution, beginning July 3 at 12 (PT). The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters in October 2021, but was moved to an online show as a result of theater closures during coronavirus pandemic.

Can I watch Hamilton online for free?

To see Hamilton, you must have a Disney Plus subscription. Disney Plus has completed its free trial for new subscribers, so if you want to watch you have to choose one of the subscriptions below. Note that you can cancel at any time.

Can I download Hamilton to watch offline?

Disney Plus lets you download all programs and movies to watch offline. Subscribers should also be able to download Hamilton for offline viewing.

What’s the thing?

Since Broadway performances of the show are suspended for the time being due to coronavirus, the only way fans can watch the award-winning musical at Disney Plus. Tickets to see a live performance of Hamilton, which has often sold out in theaters across the country, have ranged from $ 149 upwards.

Will Hamilton be explicitly censored?

Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of Hamilton, has officially confirmed that the film will censor the F-word. The Hamilton movie trailer shows a PG-13 viewer rating, suggesting that the musician’s other cuss words and sexual content may remain, possibly with a warning before the show begins.

But since Disney Plus is billed as a family-friendly streaming service, there has been concern about the content, especially songs that contain the F-word and more romantically lively scenes.
