A man formerly convicted of stalking Sandra Bullock was found dead in his La Crescenta, California, home from a self-inflicted wound, ABC 7 reports.
On Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department served a warrant with Joshua Corbett, 42, at home. NBC Los Angeles reports that he then barred in his home, resulting in SWAT officers who responded to the incident. He claimed he had a weapon and threatened to kill the officers.
Crisis dealers used to spend five hours trying to convince Corbett to leave home before they entered the house and found the suspected death.
While the police did not confirm ABC reports that Corbett has not been taken for a hearing in connection with his trial on April 23.
Corbett was tried in 201
In the 2014 hearing, Bullock was heard in a scary 911 call telling the sender: "I'm in my wardrobe. I have a secure door. I'm locked in the wardrobe right now."
Corbett issued a 10 year-old protection order requiring him to stay away from Bullock and also sentenced to five years of trial and treatment in mental health care.
