In a blockbuster movement first reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi, Oklahoma City Thunder has traded Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Chris Paul and another draw of the first round draft.
"Oklahoma City Thunder has agreed on a blockbuster trade to send Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets to reunite him with James Harden, league sources told ESPN.
The rockets will send guard Chris Paul, two protected first rounds (2024 and 2026) and two picking swabs (2021 and 2025) to Thunder, said sources to ESPN. "

To clarify the picks:
After sending Paul George to Clippers and Jerami Grant to Nuggets less than a week ago, Sam Presti has accumulated eight future first rounds of rebuilding by sending his superstar duo to distinguish Western conference rivals. Both George and Westbrook are again part of the canvas; George with Kawhi Leonard and Westbrook joined former Thunder teammate James Harden.
In the case of Oklahoma City, Paul's future in blue will be questioned. Sam Amick from USA Today, Thunder reported that he would hold 9-time all-Star, with ESPN's Ramona Shelburne suggesting that the franchise will work with Paul to decide what is best for his career ahead.
In any case, the Westbrook era is officially done in Oklahoma City – something that definitely takes a little to get used to.
