Rumors are heating up that Giancarlo Esposito is Far Cry 6 villain

Blood for blood, Hector

If the latest rumors go out, come Breaking Bad the universe will be able to claim two of Far Cryare important villains. Before his biggest break as Nacho Varga in Best to call Saul, Michael Mando expressed Vaas Far Cry 3. Now it seems drug-kingpin-disguised-as-chicken man Gus Fring is ready to leave his mark too.

In an interview with Collider (it’s all embedded above), actor Giancarlo Esposito admits in passing that he̵

7;s working on a big video game. “This video game I did, which will be huge … [but I] can’t really name [it]”Esposito says. Everyone has simply accepted that he is the villain Far Cry 6. That’s just what makes sense.

But in a now deleted article, Gamereactor flat-out states that Esposito’s role he teases is actually in the next Far Cry. It is impossible to say whether this is some kind of embargo-breaking declarative or just hyper-confident editorial. If it’s the latter, why pull the article?

Esposito’s alleged commitment is that way to put the carriage in front of the horse because we do not even know for sure Far Cry 6 exists. But once again, everyone has just accepted that it probably definitely does. We are rumored to have a full disclosure during the Ubisoft Forward stream on July 12, and to hear Esposito’s voice front and mine seems exactly how this will go down. For a double dose of heated Albuquerque, Mando has made another return Far Cry, so we can get two Best to call Saul stars at the price of one. I’m so excited that I could burn down a chicken shop.
