JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Central North Dakota authorities found the body of a 4 month old boy whose mother told law enforcement officials she could not remember in the last four days or where she left the child. Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser told CBS Fargo affiliate KXJB an autopsy will be conducted to determine how long the child was dead.
No other details about the child's death were released.
Kaiser told KXJB that the family had been notified. The Sheriff says that a farmer on Friday found the child's mother, Justice Lange, in the Woodworth countryside. Long and the child was reported missing on Monday.
Kaiser says that the search has centered near where Lange was found.
Kaiser says that Lange had several warrants for her arrest. She was taken to a Fargo hospital with unprotected damage. There are no fees at this time, and Kaiser told KXJB his department will need some time to investigate before any fees are charged.
