The weather on the long weekend in August will be a little nicer for us than in recent days. We will see temperatures rise all over Poland. It will be the hottest on Sunday, it will be very hot in southern Poland – reports IMGW. At the same time, the institute ensures that the wind will be weak throughout the weekend. Stronger should only happen during storms. On the other hand, moderate and windy winds, south or west, are announced by the sea.

The weather for the long weekend – Thursday, August 15

Thursday will be sunny for most parts of Poland. In the morning, residents of the eastern part of the country must count on fog that limits visibility. Unfortunately, in the east and southeast, rain showers are expected in the afternoon – we recommend you fill up umbrellas and put the grill under the roof. The warmest will be in the western country, thermometers show up to 25 degrees in this area. The coldest, in turn, will be by the sea and in the southeast – the maximum temperature on this day will be 20 degrees.

Weather for the long weekend – Friday, August 16

On Friday, the most beautiful weather will be enjoyed by the inhabitants of eastern Poland – there will not be rain. Shower showers are expected to occur in the rest of the country. In the belt from the eastern part of Pomerania and Warmia, through the center of Poland, to Silesia and Lesser Poland, storms are announced. IMGW ensures that they will not be violent – with precipitation up to 15 mm and gusts up to 60 km / h. During the day the maximum temperature will vary from 20 to 25 degrees. It is thought to be the coldest at night in the Suwałki region – where the thermometer should only show 9 degrees, one degree more to the east and even 15 degrees to the west.

Weather for the long weekend – Saturday, August 17

On Saturday it will be warm again – from 22 to 26 degrees. Residents of Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw and Katowice can expect more sun. It will also be warm in Poznań, but it can rain in the evening. In Gdansk, it illuminates a little, although one should be aware of light clouds. The temperature will be 20-21 degrees there, similarly in Kołobrzeg.

The lowest temperature, 23 degrees, is announced for Pomeranian, Western Masurian, Masovian and Podkarpackie voivodship. Thermometers in Bialystok, Lublin, Krakow, Kielce and Katowice will show a degree more. The highest temperatures are announced in Łódź, Wrocław, Opole and Zielona Góra, where it will be up to 26 degrees. 25 degrees are predicted in other regions. The rainfall is expected in the north and east of the country. It gets warmer at night than the day before – from 12 degrees east to 18 degrees east.

Weather for the long weekend – Sunday, August 18

On Sunday, it will be the warmest in Poland; from 23 – 25 degrees in the north to 28 – 30 degrees in the south. In the southeast region there may be some violent storms. This is a preview of stronger rainfall and storms, which will take place early next week. The weather forecast announces rain in the following voivodships: Dolnośląskie, Lubuskie, Wielkopolskie, Zachodniopomorskie and Pomorskie. Moderate overcast in other regions, with better chance of lightning.

On Sunday, the sun will shine brighter in Warsaw, where thermometers will show up to 27 degrees. There is no thunderstorm in this region, although it will be cloudy around 16.00. In Krakow it gets even hotter (28 degrees), while in Poznań it gets slightly cooler (25-26 degrees) and more clouds. Temporary rainfall can occur in the capital Greater Poland.

Wroclaw residents must expect thunderstorms, while in Gdansk it will rain all day – the bars on the thermometers show a maximum of 22 degrees Celsius. It will be similar in Kołobrzeg, but it will rain there only until 13.00, then it will clear clear.
