Google says that Pixels camera application will soon be compatible with external microphones
Google update of camera application on their Pixels smartphones to work with external microphones when video recording, an employee in application, engineering team has confirmed. Android police reported on the upcoming feature on Friday.
Pixel is famous for producing excellent photos and Google has developed impressive stabilization for the final video of things. But the Pixel Microphones only record so much sound. External microphones connecting to the USB-C port (or headphone jack for the original pixels) can be solved for this.
Some of the third-party third-party microphones on the Android camera such as Open Camera already allow external microphones to record audio under the video. But with the option in the application bag, it will be nice for bloggers and others who use Pixel as a tool for content creation.
This update will be available approximately at the same time as the retail will be launched by Pixel 3 on October 18th. "As Pixel 3 is released (October 18), we're launching support for Android-enabled connected external microphones in the program's standard camera, for all pixels," wrote the engineer at Google Forum. If you know any valued external microphones that work with Android, please listen to "in the comments, as I've only used a little of Shure and Apogeo on iOS.
External support microphone is something of a niche, but remember to The biggest pixels will also win several of the new camera software and features that Google showed in the Pixel 3 event.
