After being announced last week, Overwatch's annual limited-time Summer Games event is now live. It has returned from Lucioball, which has a new location in Busan Stadium, South Korea, as previously disclosed, except for the existing ones in Sydney, Australia and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The more competitive Copa Lucioball is also back for its second season.
Besides, there are over 50 new "seasonal items" to unlock, including new "legendary" skins like Waveracer D.Va, Fastball Zenyatta and Cabana Ana. A game patch has been released alongside, giving rise to shift names, changes in hero abilities including Ana, Brigitte, Doomfist, Hanzo, Lucio, Mercy, Moira, Reinhardt, Sombra, Symmetra, Widowmaker and Zarya and several bug fixes
In a post attached to the patch, the characterist John Gotch detailed his work on creating leather:
"It begins with our concept artists to share their ideas early, helping us to hype us when we begin think about all the possibilities and details we can add models and finisher textures, such as making the propellers on the back of D. Vaas Waverunner mech faster when using her Booster's ability. "
" The 3D artists then choose which skin They want to create and encourage expressing their views and ideas during the development process so that we can help them turn their view into reality. Once upon a time have collaborated with us on digital sculpture and the last game model, we finish the skins and give them an extra fur polish in-house with our rigging and skinning, visual effects, sound and quality assurance testing team to make sure they work in the game . "
Overwatchs 2018 Summer Games event will expire until August 30.
