Omar promises to continue to be Trump's "nightmare" that hundreds of her greet in Minnesota



Rep. Ilhan Omar promised to continue to be President Trump's "nightmare" as she received a warm welcome in her Minnesota district on Thursday after a turbulent week where she repeatedly collided with the White House.

Hundreds of people greeted Omar at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport, many supporting placards of support for the beginner's congress.

Last week, controversies arose after Trump said Omar and three other far-off congress women – Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley ̵

1; "go back and help fix the completely broken and criminal infected places from which they came".

Critics considered Trump's comments racist and divisive, especially as all four congressional women are American citizens, with three of them born in the United States (Omar was born in Somalia.)

Later, Omar participated in a packaged town hall where she beat the progressive suggestion of "Medicare for All," which her supporters gave her a standing ovation.

Before the look of her home district, Omar Trump called a "fascist" after a chant "send back" erupted during a campaign experience on Wednesday, a chant Trump said he was not.

"I think he's fascist," Omar told reporters on Capitol Hill and added that "I want to remind people that this is what this president and his followers have turned our country that is supposed to be a country we allow democratic debate and deviation to take place. "
