Officer Natalie Corona kills: Gunman was ordered to give up rifles

Sagittarius who shot and killed Davis police Natalie Corona, Thursday night, has been identified as Kevin Douglas Limbaugh, a 48-year-old man who was ordered last autumn to hand over a semi-automatic rifle after being sentenced in a battery case.

Yolo County Superior Court record shows Limbaugh was charged in September with battery of serious bodily injury, an event that a source said retrieved from him to strike an employee at Cache Creek Casino in the face after a dispute.

The case was resolved as a misdemeanor conviction, and California's Department of Justice records that he agreed to give up a black .233 caliber Bushmaster AR-1

5 rifle in November.

Court records also show that Limbaugh did not have any other weapons, and the authorities have not yet determined where he got the two semi-automatic handguns he thought had used in a Thursday campaign that killed the 22-year-old officer and shot

Davis police have yet to name the shooter, as they say shot inside their rental home at 501 E St. in Davis after Corona was killed.

A source told The Bee that provisional authorities did not find any other criminal cases or signs of psychological problems when the battery compartment was dissolved.
