The first they say "will have enhanced features targeting out-of-the-box video cameras, although it will not be as powerful as Sony Corp. PlayStation 4 Pro or Microsoft Corp. Xbox One X."
The second model "is a cheaper alternative for casual players as Nintendo sees as a successor to its aging handheld 3DS device." Wall Street Journal cites both subcontractors and program developers in their report.  It is claimed that the cheaper model will reduce costs by removing ng functions, with specifically quoted vibrations.  WSJ says both new versions are expected to be announced on E3, "and possibly released a few months later" in time for both Christmas and release of new games such as Pokemon Sword & Shield and Animal Crossing .
The possibility of two new models being an interesting one. I think most people asked after the first report would have guessed that a new Switch would be either a cheaper replacement for 3DS or a sweetened console for fanboys. Getting both would be wild.
