Next gen Xbox will be even more powerful than PS5

The first real hardware reviewed for Microsoft's next Xbox console saw it with some serious horsepower, led by AMD's soon-to-be released next gen Zen 2 and Navi architectures at 7nm.

I reported those leaks back in January this year and they saw the consoles split into two: the higher codename Anaconda and Lockhart consoles. Now, there are new reports suggesting that Anaconda will be more powerful than PS5, which is exactly in line with my predictions. The advanced Anaconda is reportedly called Next Xbox X and will be the fastest next gene console with its Navi GPU with 1

2 TFLOPs of performance compared to the next Xbox Streaming or "Lockhart" and it is down 4 TFLOP by performance.

Now there are new reports from the Seasoned Gaming manager Ainsley Bowden who tweeted that "multiple insiders" have confirmed Microsoft's code name The Anaconda console will be faster than PlayStation 5. This is something backed up by the big leaks from January 2019 on the alleged Next Xbox consoles, including the code name Anaconda. He tweeted:

Sony's next gene PlayStation 5 should fall somewhere in between with 8-10 TFLOPs of performance that gives it enough shallow to guarantee 1080p 60FPS in each single game with the option of 4K 60FPS without sweating. This means that the new Xbox 360 console will allow Microsoft to capitalize a great deal of time marketing it as the fastest console ever made, even in a world where PlayStation 5 is here.

The latest rumors on the next generation Xbox console reflect the Anaconda of $ 499 with some powerful specifications and a 1TB NVMe SSD with 1GB / s bandwidth which at that time seemed weird, but now with Sony promise the game switches SSD technology inside The next gene PS5, now makes it more meaningful. Then PlayStation architect Mark Cerny's words on ray tracking inside the PS5, with the next-generation Xbox according to the DXR and MS AI technology.

Here are the latest rumors on the next Xbox console:

Next Xbox X (code-named Anaconda) – $ 499:

CPU : AMD's custom Zen 2 CPU with 8C / 16T (should be 7nm)

GPU : Custom Navi GPU (12 TFLOPs of performance, should also be 7nm)

Memory : 16GB GDDR6 (surprisingly but will probably be shared with the GPU)

Storage : 1TB NVMe SSD @ 1GB / s + bandwidth

API : DirectX Raytracing + MS AI (DXR used will be HUGE, enabling radiation)

Next Xbox Streaming (code name: Lockhart) – $ 249:

CPU : AMD's custom Zen 2 CPU with 8C / 16T (should be 7nm)

GPU : Custom Navi GPU (4 TFLOPs of performance, 1/3 Xbox X)

Memory : 12GB GDDR6 (2/3 of Xbox X)

Storage : 1TB NVMe SSD @ 1GB / s + bandwidth

API : DirectX Raytracing + MS AI
