We are very much looking forward to what the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has to offer, and a couple of new leaks in recent days suggest that the tablet may be shown to the world in the near future.
The first leak courtesy of Samsung itself, which managed to short list a mention of the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus 5G model on its German website (via Androidu.ro). While the site did not reveal any new specifications, it does indicate that a larger, 5G-ready version of the tablet is indeed in the pipeline.
If there are support pages for the new hardware that are ready to use, it indicates that it won’t be long before the tablet is presented ̵
None of this is official yet, but the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus are tipped to come with 11-inch and 12.4-inch screens, which would put them head-to-head against the two iPad Pro models that Apple is currently selling.
Not so fast charging
Our second Galaxy Tab S7 leak comes from SamMobile and reports that the tablet has made its way through the certification process in China. The only new information we can get from it is that the charging speed will be limited at 15W.
Given that these tablets can have batteries up to 10,000 mAh in size when viewed, that’s a bit on the disappointing side. The charger that comes with the Galaxy Tab S7 will obviously be the same one that came with the Galaxy Tab S6.
The Tab S series represents some of the most premium Android tablets on the market, with a price tag and specifications that match – but from the recent leak, it doesn’t seem like the charging capabilities will be that impressive.
With the increased talk around the new Samsung tablet, early August looks a good bet on when it will be official. If you are curious about what it will look like, some renderings have already appeared on the web.
