Next, Lebbar held a working meeting from the University of the Americas in Puebla (UDLAP), on ways to strengthen collaboration between Moroccan and Mexican universities.
This meeting brought together the Moroccan diplomat with the university president and former Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs and Economy in Mexico, Luis Ernesto Derbez Bautista, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Raphael Steger Catano, general coordinator of UDLAP Jenkins in Mexico City, Francisco Garcia Garcia professor of international relations and responsible for projects at UDLAP, Mohamed Badine El Yattioui.
During this working meeting, several short-term collaboration topics were discussed, in particular granting of scholarships for Mexican students wishing to study in the Kingdom, as well as granting of scholarships to Moroccan students to continue their studies at UDLAP
Both parties have agreed to agree the project aimed at creating an exchange program for students, while promoting research projects between the two countries through special binary publications (via partnerships between academic publishers) and exchanges of professors between universities on both beaches.
The goal is to create spaces for dialogue and collaboration, said the project director, Moroccan academic Mohamed Badine El Yattioui, in a statement to MAP.
