Here’s another reason why we should all do our best to follow the CDC guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic on July 4 this weekend. Florida health officials reported 9,478 new COVID-19 cases on Friday along with 67 new coronavirus deaths.
Osceola logged 177 new cases, bringing the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Osceola to 2,266. No new deaths were reported in Osceola, which kept its total death rate of 25. There were 803 negative reports which also gave the positivity rate to 18 , 1%, up from yesterday’s 15.0%.
The new FDOH reported cases lead to Florida’s total amount of 178,594 since the beginning of March with 3,684 Florida residents who have died in relation to coronavirus.
The majority of coronavirus-related deaths have occurred in age groups 65 and older, but Florida reported that it is the youngest virus death on Thursday, an 1
