A Missouri woman was accused of child abuse Tuesday after saying several men were raping her 2-year-old daughter while she saw.
Azzie Watson, 25, from Kansas City was arrested on June 29 to fail to appear in court after officials received a recording from her boyfriend, claiming that he knew that two men were raped the child, reported Kansas City's FOX 4 and cited court documents.
Police received the recording last month while responding to a rape report at a hospital. In the recording, Watson said that her daughter was raped about five times, the station reported.
Watson told law enforcement on July 10 that what she said in the recording was a lie because she was appreciated by her boyfriend according to the station.
The child was tested positive for a sexually transmitted infection and had meth in her system, police said, according to the station. Watson told police that she used meth but did not know her daughter had been infected.
The two children who lived with Watson have since been removed from home, the station reported. Both had traces of metal in their feet, reported the report.
Bond was set at $ 75,000. No lawyer was recorded for Watson in the online court record.
