Magic Mountain: When will Southern California Theme Park be allowed to open again?

VALENCIA, Calif. (KABC) – Six Flags has opened its theme park in Oklahoma, but Southern California’s Magic Mountain is still closed for the time being.

The company has established a series of security protocols for guests to follow when the Valencia Park opens again. These include wearing masks, temperature controls and a limited presence to promote social distance.

The park also set up an online booking system for tickets and ensures six meters of separation while guests wait in line for attractions and food.

Magic Mountain will also provide increased cleaning and make hand cleaners available throughout the park.

Six Flags officials say that the decision to open different parks around the country will vary from place to place.

Theme parks are expected to be allowed to open again when California reaches Stage 3 of Gov. Gavin Newsom̵

7;s four-stage opening plan.

The state is currently in Stage 2 and Newsom showed on Tuesday that the next Stage could be less than a month away, but he did not give a specific date.
