Kohl's, Amazon, Walgreens and more

Restaurants are not the only companies that shower veterans and active military with freebies and handle this Veterans Day.

Companies across the country offer services – everything from free hairstyles, washes, flu and car care checks.

While several retailers have discounts weekly or weekly, some offer extras for the federal vacation.

By Monday, Kohl's is doubling its normal 15% discount on Military Monday and offering 30% off to active and former military personnel, veterans and their families.

Proof of service such as military ID is usually required, and a few companies will allow to dress in uniform as a form of identification. Emission papers, VA cards, and membership cards for veteran organizations can also be used to prove service at most companies.

And here's a freebie for everyone: National Parks all over the country waive the entry fee Monday for Veterans Day.
