Is Jordy Nelson headed for a reunion with the Green Bay Packers?
At this point, who knows. But the veteran wide receiver who spent 10 seasons with the Packers was released by the Oakland Raiders Thursday. Nelson signed a two-year deal with the team last March after the Packers chose to share ways with the wideout, who ranks in the franchise's top five in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.
As expected, the 33-year-old hitting the market again after just one year in Oakland has packers fans online thinking about the favorite football catching from Aaron Rodgers.

Another Redditor went with a "The Martian" parody:
2 spot on the Packers Reddit page as of Friday morning.
Not to be outdone, Packers Twitter is piping up. Maybe there are a lot of no. 87 jerseys that people would be happy to bring into regular rotation
Remember that, with Randall Cobb and Clay Matthews still floating out there in free agency, Nelson is not the only packers star from the last decade who may or may not be back in green and gold.
