Jessica Simpson is back on stage – thanks to Willie Nelson!
The fashion designer and mom of two returned to her singing roots when she came to Nelson for a duet at the Orange County Fair on Thursday. "My good friend Jessica Simpson and I will sing a song together," the legendary singer – co-starred with Simpson in The Hinkard's Dukes – told the audience as they shared a sweet hug  Simpson, a long-standing fan of Nelson, could not hold his tension over the Instagram event. "It's not every night that a legend calls you to join him on his stage. And my husband and child saw me perform for the first time! I love you @willienelsonofficial ? ? @kristingram" she wrote together with a photo of himself and Nelson on stage.

Simpson opened up about her and her sister, Ashlee Simpson Ross, "planning to return to music when talking to ET last month."
"We have done a lot of work behind the scenes because we have become mothers, but now we're going back to the stage, for both of us, "she said." The stage is my home, so I look forward to being on it. "
If that means Simpson can also return to the reality laundry (after newly married: Nick and Jessica ) she said she leaves it to Ashlee, whose series Ashlee + Evan premieres on the next month.
