Prince William and Kate Middleton were at the center of cheating rumors earlier this year. They have then looked down after they struggled back with British media reporting about it. How has it affected their marriage?

It was rumored that Prince William had a deal with Rose Hanbury

A rumor that Prince William had a deal with one of Middleton's friends, Rose Hanbury was previously reported. Hanbury is the Marchioness of Cholmondeley and is part of the royal couple's inner circle called Turnip Toffs. She is also married to filmmaker David Rocksavage.

The rumored affair claimed to affect their friendship. "It is well known that Kate and Rose have had a terrible fall out," an anonymous source told The Sun. "They used to be close, but that's not the case anymore [sic]."

The royal couple was reportedly broken at what to do next. Prince Williams lawyers fought for business rumors in the media. They sent a letter to a British publication.

It even read that "in addition to being false and very harmful, the publication of false speculation in relation to our customers' privacy also violates his integrity under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights," according to The Daily Beast.

Rumors were still reported elsewhere and there is now an anonymous source that provides a possible update on how it all affected their relationship.

Rumors made the couple come together in one way. An aforementioned family member of Middleton once told us weekly.

"Kate finds rumors harmful and apparently hates the idea that her children will be able to read about them online one day," the source says. "It forced her and William to sit back and examine their relationship, which they realized they should have done more often."
