BOISE, Idaho – A team of Harvard doctors said Idaho should consider returning to the lockdown as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow.
According to the COVID risk level map – which contains recommendations from the Harvard Global Health Institute, the Rockefeller Foundation and other health institutes – there are 14 states that should consider re-implementing home orders.

In just one week, Idaho has seen an increase of more than 3,000 new cases; This means that 13 percent of the people in the state test positive. The World Health Organization suggests that you stay in the lockdown if the number is over five percent.
The surge in cases has not caused any change for Gem State.
Last week, Gov. Brad Little announced that Idaho would remain in Phase Four for at least two more weeks and said he expected classrooms to reopen in the fall.
