H-E-B will no longer require customers to wear face masks to enter their stores, the grocery chain said Tuesday.
H-E-B encourages customers to wear masks but is no longer mandatory, said H-E-B spokeswoman Julie Bedingfield. Employees and suppliers will still wear masks, H-E-B said.
“The CDC, the state of Texas, and local health officials strongly recommend the use of masks or face coatings in public spaces. As Texans who help Texans, we wear masks to protect each other and our families. Social distance, wearing masks, proper hand washing and cleanup are all we does to keep Texas healthy, “the HEB said in a statement.
