Google One is now open to everyone – TechCrunch

A few months ago, Google announced Google One, the new subscription program for more Google Drive storage and other benefits. In recent weeks, Google has slowly rolled out existing Drive subscribers into a Google One membership. Starting today, new users can register for a subscription.

Google One plans start at 100GB for $ 1.99. There is also a 200GB level for $ 2.99 and a 2TB option for $ 9.99. If you need even more storage, Google will be happy to sell you 10 TB, 20 TB, and 30 TB plans for between $ 99.99 and $ 299.99 per month.

A nice feature of these new plans is that you can share your storage distribution with up to five family members.

While storage is the most important feature here, Google also promises additional benefits. The most important of these may be access to live 24/7 support. These Google experts at the other end of the line will help you figure out any questions you may have about a Google product.

Another advantage here is that you get deals on hotels when you search for them in Google Maps. Recently, Google also gave everyone a membership credit on Google Play and the company said today it will soon offer member offers for purchases in the Google Store and through Google Express.

It is worth noting that you are very much a consumer product. For businesses, Google G Suite is still a way to get additional services and features.

Currently, Google One is only available in the United States, but it will soon roll out to several countries.
