Google is giving away its Nest Mini smart speakers for free – if you are a current subscriber to Google’s premium entertainment services.
The company runs a campaign that applies to active paid subscribers to YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium or Google Play Music starting May 1
The offer must be redeemed by June 30 and is only available to those with active accounts, which means that if your membership is paused you will not be eligible. You must be registered in an individual, student or family plan and must be registered as the household head to qualify for the deal.
Visit this site and sign in to your Google Account to see if you’re eligible for a free Nest Mini, which usually costs $ 50 but Google currently discounts for $ 40.
Unfortunately, because the deal is only available to those who have been a member since May 19, that means you can’t sign up for Google’s $ 12 monthly YouTube Premium service or $ 10 monthly YouTube Music Premium service just to take the benefit of the campaign.
Nest Mini, which Google released in October, is the successor to the company’s Google Home Mini. Compared to the original, Google claims that the Nest Mini offers improved sound quality with a stronger bass and the ability to adjust the setting based on the volume level.
The Nest Mini is essentially Google’s answer to Amazon’s $ 40 Echo Dot, which is our current choice for the best smart speaker.
It’s not the first time Google’s miniature speaker has been part of a giveaway campaign. Last year, Spotify gave away the previous generation Google Home Mini to anyone with a $ 10 premium account.
