"Radio was her passion, rock music, her love. She was one of the biggest radio personalities in Germany, and we are all stunned by her sudden death," said SWG3 program director Thomas Jung after Steffi Tücking's death threat. In the early 1980s she worked in television productions like Monaco Franze and Tatort in smaller roles. In the 1990s, she moderated the daily WDR broadcast "Here and Today" and later on SWR TV, including the "Ready To Go – Car magazine" program. Nothing is known about the cause of death.
