"I see no reason we can not have exciting cars," said Brawn. "It frustrates me when a car in a video game looks better than the car we run on the right track."

"It does not mean that we pay total tribute to what will look great in a video game. It must be a good race car."

Over all else, Brawn was clear that the new cars allowed drivers to be able to Follow each other carefully, which would help improve the breed.

"The primary purpose is to produce racing cars, cars that will fight nearby," he said.

"We see it in other forms of racing, but they are often categories of solid designs and everyone is competing in the same car. You do not have the extreme patterns as in F1

.

" F2 cars may lose less performance when They compete together, but the new IndyCar is big in that regard. We have shared some info with IndyCar on their experiences

Brawn explained that the F1 had worked through three stages of conceptual visions and the wind tunnel test had already been done to confirm that hoping to make cars better match each other was matched in the real world.

"Law is now involved in this" said. "But all teams now have models that we have initiated and they look at them and feed back information."

"All 10 teams work to find the best solution we can for 2021, so there are regular reviews for all teams.

"The law has a limitation on how much aero-test they can do, but FIA has given them some extra time to work with in the project, so there is a great incentive to find the best solution. We find from their models similar to what we find. "
