Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 are solid, about incalculable upgrades and there are some great Black Friday deals available on them, but anyone looking for a completely innovative Samsung smartphone will have to wait for that. & Nbsp;

Samsung Galaxy S11: Everything we know so far

Forbes Gordon Kelly

Thanks new information from acclaimed Samsung insiders Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) and Ice Universe, we now know that the Galaxy S11 will dramatically change the size and sport of a new design compared to its predecessors, and that's just the beginning. & nbsp; [19659009] Update: 11/17 – the benefits of the Galaxy S11 continue to grow. In addition to the Blass and Ice Universe leaks below, XDA Developers has found more evidence of the Galaxy S11's photo-centric upgrades compared to its predecessors. An APK crash of the Samsung Camera app has found hidden code referring to Director's View Mode (multi-camera shooting at once), Night Hyperlapse (seemingly a Pixel 4 Astrop Photography rival ) and Single Take Photo (a burst mode designed to capture a single scene by combining dozens of photos). And the cherry on top? Proof of a future-proof 8K 30fps video recording mode – something the rumored 108MP Galaxy S11 camera could handle with ease.

Blass explains that Samsung is making the Galaxy S11 series even bigger with three new screen sizes: 6.4-inch Galaxy S11, 6.7-inch Galaxy S11 + and 6.9-inch Galaxy S11 5G . This compares with screen sizes of 6.1 inches (S10), 6.4 inches (S10 +) and 6.7 inches (S10 5G). Yes, Samsung's standard S11 will have a screen as large as this year's S10 +, though he warns that Samsung can still choose a more conservative 6.2-inch panel. & Nbsp;

Blass also says that Samsung will offer 5G versions of all models so probably the Galaxy S11 5G will need a new name (& # 39; Max & # 39; seems to be popular). He adds that Samsung will only use screen screens next year, with the flat panel used on the Galaxy S10 Lite not being repeated. Personally, I prefer flat screens (no interface turned, more durable) but that's just me. & Nbsp;

When it comes to arrival times, Blass says Samsung could launch the Galaxy S11 as early as mid-February, but it will probably be before the end of the month. & nbsp;

Are you worried about the new screen sizes? Don't be. A new design mocked by Ice Universe "based on the leaked information" shows that the Galaxy S11 frame will be even thinner so that the change in the size of the handset is likely to be minimal. He also says that that hole camera will move to the center of the screen, like the Galaxy Note 10, and get smaller. The last point may disappoint you because some Samsung had tipped hot to put the Galaxy S11's camera under the screen . & Nbsp;

As I said, this may be the only disappointment of the Galaxy S11 considering what we know more about the phone. The heading change is a potentially groundbreaking camera called "Hubble" because of its extreme zoom capabilities. There is also a high performance upgrade next-gen memory an oversized fingerprint sensor and a real crowdpleaser: much larger batteries . Samsung is also working on revolutionary new battery technology that may or may not do so. & Nbsp;

So my suggestion: unless you can secure yourself a massive discount on Black Friday (the biggest one will be from Costco and from Target – bookmark them), wait for Galaxy S11. It will make them look old, fast. & Nbsp;
