After an autopsy on Wednesday, the police said Diana Alejandra Keel's death was treated as a murder.
Police questioned Keels husband, Rexford, on Tuesday May Miss Strickland from Nash County Sheriff Office. At that time, he had not been burdened in his wife's death and was released.
Police now say they do not know where Rexford Keel is, but he can drive a 1998 Chevy pickup truck, possibly tin or gold in color, with the North Carolina signs BBM-9232.
The death of the suspect's first wife also investigated
Investigators also take a second look at Keel's first wife Elizabeth Deward Keel's death, which died in 2006 in the same home. Keel lives today, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
Death 2006 was at the time an accident of the medical office, Nash County Sheriff's office said. An autopsy indicated that she died after falling and banging on the forehead on the corner of concrete steps at the front of the home. Strickland told CNN that the detectives worked with the FBI and other local bodies to investigate the death of both women.
