"Double Train" to resume Nickelodeon this summer (Video)

In summer, it's time to recapture the physical challenge: Nickelodeon resumes classic children's Double Dare game (again) with a 40 episode order.

Nick has not yet announced host or other talent, although the Viacom cable channel says that the new version will "present appearances from blasts from former, long" Double Dare "fans and stars from today."

If you missed the 80's and 90's game program or 2000 revival, "Double Dare", have two teams competing to win prizes by responding to brain-bending trivia issues, completing pink and physical stunts and finally meeting the infamous obstacle course: The human hamster wheel, the classic giant mouth, the twist and the iconic "Double Dare" nose, per Nick's official description.

The original "Double Dare" and "Family Double Dare", both hosted by Marc Summers, combined for a 1

986-1993 run on Nick. The format was restarted for a season at the turn of the century as "Double Dare 2000".

Nickelodeon also filmed a "Double Dare" special on Comic Con 2016.

A Summers rep did not immediately respond to TheWrap's question of possible participation as a host or producer. Summers produced "Double Dare 2000" and has recently stayed as an executive producer in food and restaurant exhibitions.

Let's take back girls taste shows like "Pepper Ann" and "Kim Possible"

We can bet that you almost forgot some of these Disney characters from the 1990s and early 2000s. If "DuckTales" can get a reboot, then these childhood galleries should also be.
