Fortunately, in one of its many awesome systems to own your soul and / or your $ 7 a month for as long as possible, Disney + has developed a solution that lets you stick to the things you love forever – even after they has provided service. As reported by CNET Disney + will let you download titles for offline streaming, as most of these services do, but Disney manager Bob Iger says it lets you keep those titles forever (assuming you are a Disney + subscriber forever that Disney obviously counts).
However, Netflix sets a specific limit for how long you can "retain" titles you have downloaded and downloads are automatically deleted if what you have downloaded leaves Netflix. Hulu only offers downloads to subscribers to some plans and not everything is downloadable, plus you can only keep unmatched downloads for 30 days. Iger makes it sound like there will be no time limits for Disney + downloads, as long as you keep an active download subscription and say you can hypothetically "download 10 classic Disney movies that may not all have been available at one time" and "basically load all your hard drive on one of your drives," and then you can just watch them
Interestingly, CNET also points out that some of Disney +'s offers were made before the streaming service's plans were fully in motion, so it will lose at least some of the movies it starts in the future (the story specifically says that some "popular movies from 2016 to 2018" will leave Disney + and go back to Netflix "in about six years "but download anything when you can and it doesn't matter).
