Day 1 journaling app for iOS gets big update with new Today view and Sign in with Apple

Day One is one of the most popular journaling apps available for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The app now gets a major upgrade to version 5.0 with a new Today view, newly designed media selector, Sign in with Apple and more.

The old activity flow was redesigned and it is now called today. According to the team behind the Day One app, Today shows various elements such as location data, calendar events, photos and more in one place for easier and faster access.

Today provides an overview of where you have been and what you have done, so that you can keep a record of what is most important in a really convenient way. Today is also the most seamless way to return to the past, with quick access to On This Day.

The app̵

7;s media selector has also been redesigned so that users can easily switch between the photo library and the camera, making the process of adding media to a post even more intuitive.

If you add photos and videos to your diary from the app, you will find the updates that make the process together a more enjoyable experience.

Day 1 also gets a rebuilt PDF export option to give you more control over what data you can export, as well as a new option to export data to a CSV file. In addition to all these new features, the app now has Sign In with Apple, allowing users to create a new Day One account without having to worry about logging in or passwords.

Day One 5.0 is now available in the App Store for iPhone and iPad users as a free update with in-app purchases. A Mac version is also available in the App Store.
