Conservative activist Hayden Williams emerged on "Hannity" Thursday night where he recorded the violent attack he experienced Tuesday on campus at the University of California at Berkeley.
"This person claimed that we promote violence on campus and continued to take his aggression out on us," Williams told host Sean Hannity about the attack, which was captured on video.
Williams sported a black eye while showing on the show, the result of being violently hit the face while helping conservative Turning Point USA recruits members.

Although Williams helped Turning Point USA he is not a member. He is a field representative of the Leadership Institute, a Virginia-based organization providing training for conservative activists.
According to Williams, some UC Berkeley students considered a violation of a sign that Turning Point showed on its recruitment table that read "Hate Crime Hoaxes Injury Real Victims." Williams said the person who beat him claimed that Williams and Turning Point USA promote violence on campus.
The sign referred to the "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett, who is accused of attacking an attack on himself and claims that white male supporters from President Trump committed the alleged crime.
The group in Berkeley also had a sign that reads "This is MAGA Country".

Williams says he "absolutely" has evidence and eyewitnesses that he did not provoke the alleged attacker. Williams started recording the confrontation but says that the alleged attacker hit his phone from his hand. But an opponent recorded video of the event.
The man in the video can be heard and scream profanities at Williams and threatens for a while to shoot him.
"I feared for my own safety so I started recording at this moment," Williams told Hannity.
"This shot was a cheap shot, especially at the end," Hannity told Williams.

Police are searching for the man who attacked Williams in the video, and the university has condemned the violent law.
"This is not new to UC-Berkeley. This is a school that has almost been burned down because they do not like the conservative view of the university," said Fox News contributor and Campus Reform chief editor Lawrence Jones to Hannity.
Campus Reform is run by the leadership institute.
