“After 19 years together, we separated in January, knowing that we would always be a family that loves, values and cares for one another,” it began.
“We have recently made the difficult decision on divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we have shared and the wonderful daughter we have raised – jennifer & clark ps crying completely as we publish this.”
58-year-old Clark and 60-year-old Jennifer started dating in the summer of 2000, before tying the knot in July 2001 at Martha’s Vineyard.

At the same time, Clark previously revealed that he almost turned down the role of Coulson all the way back in pre-production for Iron Man.
“I saw that role and I thought, ‘Man, I’m going to be cut! I’m going to tell everyone that I’m in this, because I love the series, and then it’ll be, who do we cut? Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow or Clark? “, He recalled.
“I had just done a part in something else, and when I looked at it, it was very small, and it was embarrassing, a little bit. Like, ‘I didn’t sign up for that gig – this is going to happen again!'”
