Chick-fil-A Owner fights back

TOLEDO The owner of two local Chick-fil-A restaurants is fighting back against a national article listing the fast food chain that has the slowest unit through.
The study was done by QSR Magazine. Here's a look at the numbers: The fastest was Dunkin with a run time of about 3 minutes and 36 seconds. Wendy's Burger King and Taco Bell were among the others with the fastest times. But at the bottom: Chick-file-A with an average time of 5 minutes and 24 seconds.

But that is not the case locally. Justin Amburgery owns the Chick-fil-A locations at Spring Meadows and at Central and McCord. He says his place on Spring Meadows is the second in the 2000 Chick-fil-A drive-thru's for speed and efficiency. The site handles over 200 cars per lunch rush between 1

2 o'clock and an o-clock and moves cars through an average of 3 minutes and 38 seconds.
