Carrie Underwood is baby bumpin!
The singer "Jesus take the wheel" went to Instagram on Friday to share the first photo of her childbirth days after she announced that she and Mike Mike were waiting for her second child together. The couple are already parents of 3-year-old son Isaiah.
Underwood laughs sweetly in the backstage picture, just before she leaned to sing to a packed audience at Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Her intriguing belly is in full view, with the silhouette highlighted by the bright light of the stage. "@ opry ❤️❤️❤️", the blond beauty depicted the sweet shot.
Underwood revealed that she expected an Instagram video on Wednesday, during which she announced her Cry Pretty tour. "You may wonder or ask," Carrie, why does your tour start in May? "Yes … yay!" She said in the video when the camera zoomed out to reveal balloons that spelled "BABY".
A source told ET soon after Underwood broke her pregnancy news that she and Fisher were over the moon excited to welcome her little, especially after her hard recovery from a scary fall in November in November. The accident in her Nashville home left her with a broken wrist and demanded more than 40 stitches on her face.
"This child is incredibly exciting because it represents a new beginning after a very challenging year," said the source. "She is prepared to let her accident behind her focus on her family and her new album release."
"Mike is glad that he desperately wanted another baby, and their son Isaiah even speaks of a baby brother or sister so the whole family is in celebrating fashion," added the source. "When Mike and Carrie married, she told her that he wanted a big family, so this is a dream that's likely to him."
